About Me

Hey, I’m Becci – a proud Southerner born and bred, but I have spent the last 11 years living up North thanks to my love of a certain football team. I am the owner of Be Heard Socials, and a busy Mum, to a boy aged 7, a girl aged 4, and a Step Mum (although I don’t ever call myself that!) to a teenager.

After 13 years working in the Higher Education sector, specialising in advocacy, campaigning and engagement, I left my job as a Head of Department in a small charity in April 2019, to become a stay at home Mum.

In October 2019, ahead of my youngest starting pre-school, I set up Be Heard Socials, offering social media management and support to small businesses, that are run by women and working parents of young families.

I bring a wealth of skills with me, including over 12 years experience in customer engagement and campaign delivery; as well as over 7 years experience in management and strategic planning. I now utilise these skills to benefit my clients. My services enable them to focus on their core business and use their time in the most productive and cost effective way.

“The world needs strong women. Women who will lift and build others, who will love and be loved. Women who live bravely, both tender and fierce. Women of indomitable will.”

My Dream Client

I love working with female entrepreneurs and working parents of young families, who are looking to scale up, or who are just at the point where it has all become too much.

The work I do for these businesses isn’t just about giving them strategic direction to their social media that brings results – I also get genuine joy from empowering women and helping them succeed, and giving families precious time back for themselves and their families too.

My Reason Why

My children have immeasurably changed my life for the better; being their Mum has taught me strengths I didn’t know I had, and shown me fears I never knew existed. Every decision I make has them at the heart of it; from leaving a career I had worked hard to be well established in, to setting up a business that allowed me to be flexible around spending as much time with them as I could.

I know first hand how hard being a working Mum in the modern world is, and how heavy the pressures and demands can be. Which is why I am so passionate about supporting women, and working Mums to achieve their dreams and sustain good mental health.

When women support each other, incredible things happen.
